WW 2 Reynolds Metals Military Medical supply Transport chest 25.5 x 13.5 x 6.5

Reynolds Metals Co. Military Medical Supply Chest w/Rubber Gasket Lid. Aluminum medical field instrument/supply transport chest. This case was my Grandfathers who was in the Naval Merchant Marines during WW2. Inside is military green, but the outside was painted Navy gray - there are some numbers that show through the gray (see photo 3) but I cannot make them out. Has a spring-loaded handle and lock-down latches on all four sides. It is in great vintage condition.
